Kerrie L. Lance is originally from Los Angeles and a graduate of the Crenshaw Christian Center post-graduate program. She moved to New York City in her 20s to pursue a career in global aviation. She worked for start-up airline JetBlue in several positions, including as brand ambassador, promoting the company at public events around the United States. She then traveled the world representing Bombardier, one of the premier manufacturers of luxury business jets. She also traveled extensively while representing a leading asset management firm for all their private aviation services. 

Kerrie has enjoyed dance from a young age, including serving as dance team captain in high school. Her passion for ballroom dance started in New York City at an independent studio. She became affiliated with Fred Astaire Dance in Florida more than 10 years ago. She is currently a student at the West Palm Beach studio. She also studies at Fred Astaire Dance Westside in New York City. 

She and her husband, Howard L. Lance, reside in Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, along with their Icelandic Sheepdog, Teddy.
